In the fourth quarter of 2021, the hypercasual gaming sector in Latin America experienced notable shifts in performance, as illustrated by Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at the top five hypercasual games on a unified platform.

Craftsman: Building Craft showed consistent weekly downloads, starting at around 718K and dipping to 561K by late November. However, a significant surge was seen in December, peaking at 990K in the final week. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, fluctuating between 6M and 7M, reaching a high of approximately 7.4M in the last week of December.

Cookie Carver: Life Challenge had an impressive start with 1.7M downloads in mid-October, but this number gradually fell to around 182K by the end of December. Active users also saw a decline from 2.1M in late October to about 536K in the last week of December. Revenue remained minimal, with only a slight increase to $16 in the third week of December.

420: Prison Survival experienced a sharp decline in weekly downloads from 2.6M in early October to just over 106K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 2M and dropping to around 253K. Despite the decline, the game maintained a steady base of active users throughout the quarter.

Candy Challenge 3D saw a significant spike in early October with 1.5M downloads, which gradually decreased to around 220K by the end of December. Active users peaked at 2.3M in late October and then declined to approximately 1.1M by December’s end. The game did not generate any reported revenue during this period.

Merge Animals 3D - Mutant race had a varied performance with weekly downloads climbing to 1.8M in early November and then stabilizing around 450K by the end of December. Active users peaked at 1.7M in early November, later decreasing to about 695K. This game also did not generate any revenue during the quarter.
